The Collector's Corner...

I am an avid fan of the old as well as the latest greatest firearms.  I am constantly working on many of the old Winchesters, Colts, and many others in my collection so if you don't see what you're looking for in the shop, just ask and I might surprise you.  While I don't claim to be an expert in all guns of all times, I do have a fine appreciation for guns older than me.  Many times, these old guns that have fired thousands of rounds still work better than a lot of the new guns built today.  Some of these old beauties only need a little TLC to make them perform like a fine swiss watch.  There is just something about shooting these guns that you can't get from some of the newer ones.  Maybe it's the history they carry or the mystery they stir up in the mind as you try to imagine what this gun has been through.  How many young hunters used this gun for their "first" of many accomplishment to come?  Who has owned this gun and what did they use it for?

While there is much to be appreciated in an old firearm, sometimes it needs much more than a little TLC.  Perhaps you like the old firearms but want them to look and perform just as well as you new ones.  Many times, you can make these improvement without hurting the value of the firearm.  Many mores times, the value this gun has to you is more important than the value anyone else sees in it so why not have what you want.  That is the beauty of gun ownership, it can be anything you want it to be.
